Books have words at the beginning, in the middle and at the end. The best bits of a book are words. University is a bit like this, except with tramping.
So, the first tramp on the new semester (for some):
Freshers!
Pardon?
Freshers is our largest, most charismatic, most loveable, and most sociable trip of the year. It is like avocado, but as a hike.
Expect some walking, medows, bonfires, a party, and some more walking.
Whats the route?
On Friday we will get a bus to Waiohine. Waiohine gorge road and camp for the night.
Saturday will be an easy 3-4 hour walk to Totara Flats.
On Sunday we will walk out to Holdsworth Road end, maybe 5 hours.
We will carry out everything we take in, including all rubish.

What do I need?
You need:
-Dinner for Friday
-2 days of lunches and snacks
-We will provide everyone with flys to sleep under
-You need a raincoat, sleeping bag, head torch, and other personal tramping gear:

The Cost will be $40. This includes transport, x2 breakfasts, x1 dinner, and group gear.
